I've really about had it with Xanga. Hardly anything going on and if there is, most of what I read around Xanga is just too depressing. I've got enough to deal with in life without reading depressing stuff all the time. After all, that's why I quit watching the news.
This place just isn't worth it anymore to me. It is time for me to move on. If you are interested in how to find me, I am on Facebook. Sometimes I post there during the day and sometimes not. If you send me games and apps and stuff, I generally ignore those because they are a waste of time to me. So don't feel offended if I don't join in the reindeer games. Myspace is about as bad as xanga anymore and so I barely go there.
At one time Xanga was something and I've met some great friends. However, it just isn't what it used to be. There's no fun in coming here any more. It is just time to move on. So many others have already and I guess I was hoping that it would change. It hasn't!
There is a chance from time to time, I may come back around. Who knows! But for now, I've had enough of Xanga!
Hasta Luego

| Watching The Rain
So far, it has rained since Sunday night when we got back. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining like a friend of mine thinks I am. We do need the rain but after about 14 inches and constant rain, it is beginning to get to be enough! A lot of flooding in the area especially in Daytona Beach area where they got more than we did.
Here's the rainfall totals since Sunday night Sun = 0.5 inches Mon = 2.6 inches Tue = 7.7 inches Wed = 2.3 inches Thu = 1.3 inches (as of this morning)
It sounds like it is supposed to be this way for at least the next couple of days or through the Memorial Day Weekend. I'd love to see the sun peek back out at some point. At least the yard is green again and growing quickly!

| Human
I so love the song "Human" by the Killers on iTunes. It is one of my favorites because the words say so much. Here's the lyrics to the song. Human from Day & Age on Amazon
Human - Lyrics I did my best to notice When the call came down the line Up to the platform of surrender I was brought but I was kind And sometimes I get nervous When I see an open door Close your eyes Clear your heart... Cut the cord Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human? Or are we dancer? Pay my respects to grace and virtue Send my condolences to good Give my regards to soul and romance, They always did the best they could And so long to devotion You taught me everything I know Wave goodbye Wish me well.. You've gotta let me go Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human? Or are we dancer? Will your system be alright When you dream of home tonight? There is no message we're receiving Let me know is your heart still beating Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer You've gotta let me know Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human Or are we dancer? Are we human? Or are we dancer? Are we human Or are we dancer?
